Michael Banner, Matthew Freeman and Ben Mepham had sent apologies. Jeff Maxwell was also unable to attend. Minutes of previous meeting and matters arising 2. There were no formal minutes from the last meeting. Consideration of AEBC Members’ comments on revised draft report 3. Comments made by AEBC Members, including the Chair, on the revised draft circulated on 29 May were discussed. Agreed amendments would be incorporated in the next draft to go to the AEBC in advance of its London meeting to be held on 17/18 July. Action: secretariat 4. The secretariat would draw up a list of people met and written representations received in the course of the sub-group’s work. The former would be arranged in categories e.g. experts, industry, Government, special interest groups etc. Lists would then be circulated to all AEBC members asking them to let the secretariat know if any important stakeholders were not represented. Action: secretariat Production of shortened version of report 5. Judith Hann would produce a first draft in mid-July. This mini-report would be released alongside the main report. Action: Judith Hann Timetable to publication 6. Planning for publication in late summer/early autumn was in hand. Pat Wilson was developing a strategy. Any Other Business 7. There was none.
