AGENDA FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE GROUP

1. Any apologies for absence.

2. To have feed-back and discuss points emerging from the seminar for social researchers on 15 January at the National Consumer Council in London, attended by Robin Grove White, Anna Bradley and Ed Dart for the Commission. A first draft of the note of the seminar is attached (as paper AEBC/DA/01/01), but this is an early draft which has not yet been considered by participants at the seminar.

3. To discuss the aims and remit of the developmental group on public attitudes and consumer choice.

4. Discussion of next steps, including reporting to the full Commission during the Norwich meeting, discussion of what work a Commission sub-group might take on, and possible timescales.
